Paul Thomas Skeens

Paul Thomas Skeens, 86, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Paul was born on July 26, 1937, in Louisa, Kentucky, to Kenos (Sr) and Madeline (Rowe) Skeens. He worked at A.K. Steel Mill of Mansfield for thirty-three years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

Paul is survived by his wife, Bertha; sons, Bruce of Celina and Paul of Meadville, PA; stepdaughter, Linda (Rodney) Mays of Mansfield; and brother, Doug (Elizabeth Ann) of Fort Gay, West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenos (Sr) and Madeline (Rowe) Skeens; brother, Glenn Skeens; daughter, Leda Jo Skeens; and brother, Glenn Skeens.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor John Dodds officiating.  Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
