Pauline (Cornell) Frazee, 98, also known by those closest to her as “Granny”, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Pauline was born May 9, 1923, to Emil and Opal (Dove) Cornell in Washington Courthouse, Ohio. In 1943 she married her love, Harold Frazee, and together they raised their three children. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to play cards, get her hair done, and sit outside in her swing. Granny was known for making the best beans and dumplings around!
Pauline is survived by her children, Garry Lee Frazee, Barbara Elaine (Richard) Lambert, and Charlene Heinberger all of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Rick (Christy) Lambert, Ryan (Liz) Lambert, Rodney (Jennifer) Lambert, Tommy (Becky) Harvey, Aaron (Christina) Harvey, and Miah Elaine; seven great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Kymber, Riley, Reid, and Cruze Lambert and Brayden, Addilyn, and Kashton Harvey; two great-great-grandchildren, Karli and Kai; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents; three brothers, Eugene, Herbert, and James Cornell; sister, Betty “Redhead” Henderson; brothers-in-law, Harry Frazee and James Henderson; sisters-in-law, Betty Cornell and Brenda Cornell; and great-granddaughter, Katie Lambert.
Calling hours will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
