Peggy Lucille Fliger, 77, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024, while in the care of Country Meadows in Bellville.
Peggy was born June 18, 1947, in Loudonville, Ohio the daughter of Don Junior and Mila Jean (Bush) Bowen. She had worked as a bartender, was a member of VFW Post #3494, and liked to play Bingo. Peggy loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by her children, Ronald Fliger, II of Akron, Sherri Shaver of Lexington, and Timothy Fliger of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Kylee) Fliger, Brandon (Brittney) Fliger, Ashley Shears, Caylum Hawk, Shelbi Ruckman, Tila Hawk, Christopher Ruckman, Timothy Fliger, II, and Destini (Charles) Anderson; numerous great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Vicki (Butch) Bletz of Mansfield, Patti (Gary) Oswalt of Loudonville, Toni Dunham of Loudonville, Rick Bowen of Ashland, Mike Bowen of Ashland, Don Bowen of SC, and Barb Bowen of Ashland; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Fliger; daughter, Angie Fliger; and two brothers, Garry Bowman and Max Bowman.
As per Peggy’s wishes, no services will be held.
Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
