Perry C. Johnson

Perry C. Johnson, age 66 of Ashland, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 6, 1959, in Mansfield to the late Emit Johnson and Anna “Joleen” (Flannery).

Perry retired from Laborers’ Local 1216 after 30 years as the business manager. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his big, beautiful pond while others fished, and he was a fan of UFC and boxing. He supported all Ohio sports teams and enjoyed catching games when he could. Above all else, Perry loved his family, friends, and community. He was truly one in a million, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children Randy Johnson, Becky Johnson, and Aimee Jo Gallahue; his grandchildren Perry “Dakota” Johnson and Madelynn Johnson; his niece Tanya Johnson; and his nephew Joshua Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Emit Johnson and Joleen Lehman; his brother Eddie Johnson; and his niece Jennifer Johnson.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 11:45 am at Franklin Church Cemetery, 3775 Franklin Church Rd., Mansfield.
