Obituary
Phillip B. Salyers, 57, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Phillip was born on November 16, 1964, in Mansfield, the son of G. Jay and Frances E. (Salyers) Reed. He enjoyed having his friends over and spending time in his “man cave”. Phillip also liked watching football and Nascar.
He is survived by his stepfather, Jay Reed of Mansfield; brother, Terry (Anita) Salyers of Greenwich; aunt, Carolyn of Mansfield; and nieces and nephews.
Phillip was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Reed; and two siblings, Mike McCulley and Jackie Dodson.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Windsor Cemetery.
