Ralph D. Fields, 92, of Crestline, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Friday, January 7, 2022.
Ralph was born on November 4,1929, in Ashland, KY, to William B. and Plina (Ratliff) Fields. He married the love of his life, Wilma J. (Barker) Fields, on December 23, 1948, and she survives. He was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple. Ralph enjoyed gardening and was meticulous with his lawn. His most favorite thing to do was to go fishing.
Along with his wife, Wilma, he is survived by two grandchildren, Jennifer (Dave) Kincade and Daniel (Lauren) Fields, both of Florida; great-grandchildren, Leah and Molly Kincade and Evelyn and Jack David Fields, all of Florida; and brothers, Ellis Fields, Fred Fields, and Jerome Fields, all of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David K. Fields; and siblings, Eldon Fields, Charles Fields, Hazel McCalvin, Virginia Sloan, Luella Artis, Arnold Fields, Gerald Fields, and Jonny Fields.
Calling hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Mansfield Baptist Temple, 752 N. Stewart Road, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
