Rayetta "Rae" J. (Delaney) Malone

Rayetta “Rae” J. (Delaney) Malone, 66, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

Rae was born April 27, 1958, in Haysi, Virginia, to Kelver and Mattie S. (Yates) Delaney. She was a member of Foursquare Church-New Life. Rae was a waitress at Skyway East for 45 years where she was loved by many regulars. She loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. Rae always looked forward to trips “down home” and to the beach. She was a loving caregiver with a heart of gold.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Malone; sons, Dean (Tacey) Malone of Wooster and Daryl (Jessie) Malone of New Washington; grandchildren, Kylie Malone, Allison Malone, Raven Bradley, Lexi Pritchard, Vince Collins, Paige Mazor, and Liberty Bradford; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Brad) Remy and Geneva Powers, both of Mansfield; nephew and nieces, Curtis (Madgie) Remy, Kaley (Marco) Ramos, and Dakota (Sam) Powers; and five great-nieces and nephews.

Rae was preceded in death by her parents; and her honorary sister, Donna Yates.

The family will have private services. 

Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, is handling the arrangements.
