Rebecca "Becky" S. (Talbott) Beeman

Rebecca S. “Becky” (Talbott) Beeman, 81, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Becky was born May 21, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, to Jesse M. and Grace M. (Shutt) Talbott. She was a 1961 graduate from Mt. Vernon High School and married the love of her life, Edward E. Beeman on July 7, 1963. Becky was a seamstress and retired from Vick’s Dry Cleaners after over 15 years of employment. She was a member of Zions Refuge Baptist Church, and along with sewing, she enjoyed going to church gatherings, camping, and going out to eat. She also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society.

Along with her husband, Edward, she is survived by her son, Jesse (Joanie) Beeman of Mansfield; three step-grandchildren, Lori Tackett, William Bryant, and Mindy: eleven step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Judy Creech of Mt. Vernon.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathy Beeman; and step-grandson, Aaron Bryant.

A celebration of Becky’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024, at Zions Refuge Baptist Church, 1400 Lucas Road, Mansfield, with Pastor Dave Parsons officiating.
