Rita A Byerly

Rita A. (Smith) Byerly, 67, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.Rita was born on September 2, 1951, in Mansfield, to James E. and Laura J. (Wade) Smith. She loved her family and she loved her life. She was an auxiliary member and past president of the VFW Post 3494 and enjoyed Facebook and computers.She is survived by her husband, David Byerly; two children, William "Michael" Hall of Montana and Jeanette (Michael) Powers of Florida; three children through marriage, Keisha Byerly, Aleshia Cole, and Vannesa Byerly all of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Quinton Hall, Starly Smoot, Roman Patrick, Rebecca Reynolds, Savanna Hall, Alexandra Dean, and Ashley Dean; many great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dianna See and Kathleen Cantrell both of Mansfield. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gene Russell "Rusty" Hall; daughter through marriage, Sharon Byerly; and two sisters, Rebecca Smith and Loretta Jean Smith.Calling hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
