Robert Sloan Obituary

Robert “Bob” John Sloan, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Ohio Health Hospital in Mansfield, OH.

He was born January 27, 1942, in Pennsylvania and married Linda Kuschmeader on January 7, 1966. Bob served in the United States Air Force and retired from Simplex Time Recorder Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to Hot Air Balloon Shows. He also enjoyed riding around in his scooter at local stores meeting new people! Most importantly, he loved the Lord and when he was able, attended River of Life Church in Butler, OH.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Monica (Gene) Wayland; son, John (Kim) Sloan; son, Todd Sloan; grandchildren, Courtney (John) Lewis, Kaylynn Cockrell, Kiefer (Lori) Sloan, Cody Sloan, Kirsten (Vince) Skoog, Casey (Ashley) Sloan, and Jonathan Shafer; two great-granddaughters, Lydia Lewis and Emma Sloan.

Family will be having a private gathering to reminisce, grieve, support each other and celebrate the life of this great man.
