Roger N. Kennedy

Roger N. Kennedy, age 56 of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 20, 1969, in Mansfield to the late Jessie and Lucy M. (Griffitt) Kennedy.

Roger was an avid sports fan, and he especially enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed catfishing and driving his car, and he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his siblings Loretta (Clinton) Rowe and Norma Isaac, both of Mansfield, and Patricia Griffitt of Plymouth, New York; his nieces and nephews Priscilla, Cassandra, Clinton Jr., Klarissa, Anthony, and Tyler Rowe and Jeff and Steven Isaac, all of Mansfield; his aunts and uncles Buster (Martha) Kennedy, and Maxine (Ernie) Thompson, all from Mansfield, and Jack (Karen) Griffitt and Oscar (Fonda) Griffitt, both of Vanceburg, Kentucky; and numerous great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Lucy Kennedy; his grandparents Jessie and Lyda Kennedy and Edna and Oscar Griffitt; his great-nephew Zayden Rowe; his brothers-in-law Arby and Charles Isaac; his aunt Gladys Griffitt; and his infant twin siblings.

A private graveside service will be held at Mansfield Cemetery.
