Sherry Dickerson Obituary

Sherry L. Dickerson, 78, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

Sherry was born December 6, 1942, in Whitesburg, KY, to Arlie and Olga (Bates) Amburgey. 

She is survived by her partner, Kenneth Kneuss; children, Robert (Linda) Dickerson, of Ashland, and Anna (John) Mills, of Georgia; sister, Patricia Combs; grandchildren, Jessica Campbell, Tyler Gibson, Darcee Mills, Ashley Dickerson, Amber Dickerson, Amanda Dickerson, Joshua Mosier, Jacob Mosier, Karissa Mosier, Jeremy Wisenbarger, J.D. Sturgill, and Harrison Campbell; and 12 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James L. Sturgill; brothers, Ellis Ambergey, Dwight Ambergey, and James Ambergey; and Daniel Campbell.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio, 44905.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Carlisle officiating. Burial will take place in Mansfield Cemetery.
