Shirley F. (Simmons) Parker, 80, of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Shirley was born June 3, 1942, in Mansfield, to Dennis and Harriet (Sweet) Simmons. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley enjoyed gardening, her dogs, flea markets, and birds.

She is survived by her children, Troy Parker of Lexington, Missy (Tim) Armstrong, and Cindy Parker (John Witsch) both of Bellville; grandchildren, Jeremy Armstrong, Jesse Armstrong, Levi Parker, and Shania Parker; great-grandchildren, Logan Fisher, Rylee Fisher, Isla Armstrong, and Hadley Armstrong; and siblings, Tom Simmons of Mansfield, Annie Kelley of Bellville, Barb Hemperly of Jeromesville, and Sharon Cole of Mansfield.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Jean Demetracks, Bob Simmons, and Mary Agnes.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a later date.
