Steven Charles McCallis Steven Charles McCallister, 63, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. Steven was born December 9, 1958 in Mansfield to Wilbur and Myrta (Levering) McCallister. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, spoiling his pets, and spending time at his retreat at Walhonding River with his wife and family. He was a roofer ever since he was old enough to work. He recently retired from Alumni Roofing. Steven is survived by his wife of 15 years, Michele McCallister; children, Tim McCallister, Nicole (Marty) Kerr, and Wayne “Bubba” (Samantha) Gretten; sisters, Barbara Kirkpatrick, Marijane (Jim) Wetzel, Diane (Craig) Brokaw, Sheri (Rick) Bowman; sister-in-law, Cherie Hoover; mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Griffith; grandchildren, Emma McCallister, Collin Kerr, Michael Gretten, and Gunner Gretten; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Jerry Kirkpatrick; father-in-law, Howard Manning. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
