Steven “Beaz” D. Beasley

Steven D. “Beaz” Beasley, 60, of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Steven was born on November 4, 1960, in Mansfield, to R. Phil and Jane L. (Garber) Beasley. He married his sweetheart, Milly (Fliger) Beasley on July 12, 1986, and she survives. Steven loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and his friends. He had a passion for playing drums, since age 4, and enjoyed shooting pool, woodworking, and the outdoors.

Along with his mother, Jane Beasley of Mansfield and his wife, Milly, he is survived by his daughter, Sheena (Josh) Thompson of Mansfield; grandchildren, Alexander Thompson and Madelynn Thompson, both of Mansfield; brothers, Lester (Jackie) Beasley and Daniel (Lori) Beasley, both of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Norma Beasley of TX; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, R. Phil Beasley; and brother, Randy Beasley.

Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Micah Pelkey officiating.
