Tammy L. Flannery, 46, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020.
Tammy was born on May 18, 1973, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Ray and Arlene (Adkins) Flannery. She was a free spirit with a heart of gold. Tammy was strong willed and a fighter until her last breath. She ran on “Tammy time” so she was late to everything. She loved her scratch off tickets and going to the gas station. She never knew a stranger and to know her was to love her. Tammy’s most cherished things in life were her dogs, Isabella Grace and Jasmine Diane Bell, and spending time with her grandbabies. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Jade Dodson of Mansfield; father-in-law, Barry Roark of Mansfield; two brothers, Sonny (Kissy) Flannery of Shelby and Jason Flannery of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law, Dustie Dodson of Mansfield and Rhianna Roark of Mansfield; stepson, Christian Dodson of Mansfield, and her niece who she raised and treated as her own daughter, Sonny Jones of Shelby; three grandchildren, Rayden Jones, Keeleigh Jones, and Tobias Tom, all of Shelby; and countless number of family and friends she is leaving behind.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene Duncan, her father, Ray Flannery; mother-in-law, Evelyn Dodson; sister-in-law, Krista Dodson; and nephew, Steven Foley.
A memorial service will be arranged at a later time, due to the Covid-19. Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield, is handling the arrangements.
