Tara Nicole Sauer

Tara Nicole Sauer, 37, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 14, 2020.

Born January 9, 1983 as a rambunctious, loving child that soon grew up to utilize those traits to protect and serve her family and country in the 1486th Transit Unit of the U.S. Army.  Driving her way to become a decorated soldier earning many metals of honor throughout the many years she served.  Her leadership and devotion lead to her being awarded an E6 Staff SGT status.  Tara loved her duties as a soldier and soon returned home to be a mother to her son, Chase, whom she loved to “the Moon and Back”, as she often told him.

Tara was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Eileen Holsinger and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Florence Sauer.

Tara will be loved and missed dearly by her son, Chase Michael Wright; her father, Ronald Holsinger; her mother, Linda Sauer; siblings, Trudy Holsinger of Mansfield, Shana (Lance) Arnold of Pinellas Park, FL, Amber (Derek) Branham of Mansfield, Poppy (Adam) Rockhold of Clearwater, FL, Season Cyrus of Clearwater, FL, Zac Rose of Mansfield, Josh Rose of Mansfield, and Amber Rose of Mansfield; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Mosaic Church, 296 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, Ohio.  Memorial services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Tony Pingitore officiating and full military honors performed by Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
