Thomas H. Finkey, age 97 of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 28, 1929, in Bellevue, Pennsylvania, to the late Harvey and Pearl (Leget) Finkey, and on August 18, 1950, he married the love of his life, Mary (Nichols).
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army, and he went on to work for Ohio Brass for over 30 years until their closure. He attended Mansfield First Assembly of God, and he pastored with Mansfield Open Bible Church. He enjoyed visiting people in the hospital and in nursing homes and offering support.
He is survived by his children Don Finkey, Linda (Ron) Riei, Tim Finkey, and Christopher (Sandy) Finkey; his grandchildren Cynthia (Nick) Palange, Alexander (Lorelei) Finkey, Krystal (Todd) Wynn, Emily (Stephen) Armstrong; and his great-grandchildren Makenzie Wynn, Spencer Wynn, Alliana Armstrong, Bennett Armstrong, Cienna Armstrong, and Michael Palange.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Finkey, his parents Harvey and Pearl Finkey, and his brothers Jim, Dick, and Harry Warner.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:00 am at Mansfield Cemetery with Tom’s son Timothy officiating.
