Thomas J. Lamson

Thomas J. Lamson, age 51 of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026. He was born on February 26, 1975, in Mansfield, Ohio.

Thomas was a simple man. He was hospitable but stubborn, always wanting to help others but refusing to accept anything in return, and he would’ve spent all of his time out fishing if he could have.

He is survived by his daughters Summer Edwards and Nena Edwards; his grandchildren Kiara Edwards and Noah McCleese; his stepfather Jim Roman; his brothers Mitch (Evelyn) Lamson and Jamie Roman; his niece Amber (Bobby) McGuire; his nephew Austin Roman; his longtime friend Mickey Van Hoose; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth “Betty” Lamson and sister Elizabeth.

No formal services will be observed.
