Travis Jason Brantley, 38, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 30, 2024.
Travis was born August 8, 1985, in Mansfield to Linda Kay Rigsby. He regularly attended the ARC Empowerment Center. Travis recently got his CDL and was making a living driving truck.
Travis is survived by one son, Gavyn Rollins and his mother, Megan Rollins both of Mansfield; one sister, Jennifer (Ryan Boice) Brantley of Mansfield; grandparents, Ronald (Carol) Rigsby of Lexington; two aunts, Debra (Randy) Waugh of Louisa, KY and Ronda (Jerry) Shrimplin of Mansfield; one uncle, Jason (Lanetta) Amick of Mansfield; two nieces, Makayla Boice (Ricky Forwith) of Shelby and Allissa Boice (James Hall) of Mansfield; one nephew, Kane Bago of Mansfield; multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Travis was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Kay Rigsby; his grandmother, Donna Kay Hamm-Kennedy; cousin, Johnathan Rigsby Waugh; and best friend, Shannon Vasquez.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024, at the ARC Empowerment Center, 378 Park Avenue West, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Joey Nichols officiating.
